Wild. Trump posted on TruthSocial:
Stocks continued their decline with the Nasdaq now down about 900 points or -3.5%. The S&P was down -160 points, or -2.15%, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down nearly 500 points on the day. The helicopter was reported shot down last night but it was not clear what your responsibility was.
With the United States likely to respond, this will likely open the door for Israel to continue its offensive against Lebanon.
The price of crude oil rose on the news but has begun to decline. Its price is still down -$3.17 at $88.07, which may indicate that if wars intensify they will also end much sooner than negotiations. The low price extended to $85.95. Prices are high at $91.55 for the day. The current price is near the middle of this range at $88.07.
The US dollar moved higher. EURUSD is back near the lows hit late yesterday and earlier today as it completes its bullish and bearish cycle for the day.
