Royal Enfield Classic 350: Royal Enfield has updated its popular Classic 350 bike for 2026. The company has added two new features to the bike, which will make the daily ride easier. Now it will take less effort to operate the clutch in traffic and can also charge smartphones or other electronic devices faster on the road. However, there was no change in the engine, power and old look of the bike.

Dual-channel ABS variants of the 2026 Royal Enfield Classic 350 come with an assist and slipper clutch. This feature reduces the effort required to depress the clutch lever. This makes changing gears frequently and riding in heavy traffic easier than ever.
This clutch also prevents the rear wheel from jumping or locking up when you suddenly downshift at high speed. This makes gear changes smoother and the rider gets better control of the bike. A USB Type-C fast charging port is also found
The Classic 350 now also has a USB Type-C fast charging port. It’s mounted in a place on the bike where it won’t be seen much. Passengers will be able to charge smartphones and other electronic devices faster than before while traveling.
This feature will be more useful for people who use navigation on their smartphone to see the route or travel long distances by bike. But will this new feature be available on the cheaper version of the Classic 350 as well?
A new feature that is not present in the base variant
Royal Enfield has not made any changes to the base Redditch Red variant. A single-channel ABS model will be available as before. The ex-showroom price in Delhi is Rs 1.87 lakh.
At the same time, the ex-showroom starting price of the updated dual-channel ABS variants with assist and slipper clutch has been maintained at Rs 1.95 lakh. But besides the new features, have any changes been made to the engine and performance of the bike?
No change in engine and performance
The Classic 350 is powered by the same 349cc, air-cooled, J-series single-cylinder engine. This engine generates a power of 20.2 horsepower and a maximum torque of 27 Newton metres. The engine is coupled to a five-speed gearbox.
Now in the higher variants, new assists and slipper clutch will also be available with this gearbox. But after getting the new features, has the old classic and retro look of the bike changed as well?
The old classic look will remain intact
The bike’s old design, comfortable riding position and better setup for longer rides have remained intact. Royal Enfield had earlier also introduced the assist and slipper clutch in models like the Hunter 350 and Goan Classic 350.
With new features, the Classic 350 has become more practical for daily travel, but its old classic look and identity remains the same.
