Police Union Endorses Clarity Act as Three Cryptocurrency Lobby Reaches Senate


America’s largest police union, the National Fraternal Order of Police (FOP), and three cryptocurrency organizations have publicly supported the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act.

In a letter dated July 24, FOP National President Patrick Yoes attributed the organization’s new position to a review of Section 10604 of the Blockchain Regulatory Certainty Act (BRCA). The latest compilation gives law enforcement agencies authority over crime in the field of digital assets.

“I am optimistic that we can get the necessary votes.”
