X adds access to one-click trading for Canadian users
Bier also announced a pilot partnership with Wealthsimple that will allow Canadian users to trade directly from Cashtags.
Starting today, when users click on a stock or cryptocurrency ticker on the X, they will be directed directly to Wealthsimple to complete the trade.
The flow is designed to be a one-click transition from conversation to order entry. Users select a cash tag within posts or search results, and are taken to a pre-populated trading screen for the corresponding asset on Wealthsimple.
