Ajay Devgn’s Dhamaal 4 continued its steady run at the box office on its first Tuesday, showing resilience despite the usual weekday sluggishness. The comedian earned an estimated Rs 9.5 crore nett in India on the fifth day, taking its total domestic net collection to Rs 83.25 crore after five days in theatres.
The film’s impressive performance pushed its total collection in India to Rs 99.44 crore, putting it just shy of Rs 100 crore in the domestic market, according to trade tracker Sacnilk. Internationally, Dhamaal 4 collected ₹16 crore, taking its total collection at the worldwide box office to ₹115.44 crore within five days of release.

Directed by Indra Kumar, Dhamaal 4 revives one of Bollywood’s most successful comedies with an ensemble cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey, Sanjay Mishra, Ravi Kishan, Esha Gupta and Sanjeeda Sheikh. The film benefited from positive word of mouth, family audiences, and the popularity of the franchise, which helped it maintain strong box office collections even after a blockbuster opening weekend.
Dhamaal 4 recorded its strongest occupancy on day 5 in Chennai (29%) and Lucknow (28%), followed by Jaipur (22.3%), according to Saknilk. Among the major urban markets, Mumbai recorded an occupancy of 19.3%, while the National Capital Region (18.5%), Pune (16.5%), Ahmedabad (16.3%), Bengaluru (15.5%) and Hyderabad (14.3%) continued to contribute steadily to the nationwide box office performance.

The film opened with Rs 16.5 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 21.25 crore on Saturday and Rs 28.5 crore on Sunday, before seeing an expected weekday drop of Rs 8.75 crore on Monday. It rebounded marginally on Tuesday to an estimated Rs 9.5 lakh crore, indicating that audience interest remains intact.
The upcoming weekend will be crucial for Dhamaal 4 as it looks to cross the Indian gross mark of Rs 100 crore comfortably while adding to its global tally. However, the film is expected to face competition from Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, which is set to hit theaters later this week and could impact screen availability and movie sets.
