Cognition comes out of beta with four digital asset integrations

Perception, a real-time narrative intelligence platform for digital asset companies Beta came out It announced integrations with BitGo (NYSE: BTGO), Swan, Relai, and Bitcoin Well (TSX.V: BTCW).

The four companies have integrated the Perception data layer into their internal AI workflows during the trial period, ahead of today’s public launch.

The platform targets A Structural problem In how digital asset teams collect market information. High-value industry discourse has spread across a fragmented network of niche media, conference transcripts, social platforms, and regulatory filings—channels that standard monitoring tools and general-purpose AI models do not reach.

The company argued in a memo to Bitcoin Magazine Outdated tools exacerbate the problem rather than solve it: As AI-generated content floods public channels, noise-to-signal ratios worsen, and tools that simply scrape the open web pass this degradation on to their users.

Large, general-purpose language models face related limitations.

Their output reflects what search engines show and what is indexed during training – not what happens before market consensus forms. For companies making positioning decisions in real time, this lag carries a real cost.

Cognition as a layer of thinking

Perception’s approach is to act as a contextual layer between inference models and live industry data, aggregating signal from over 1,000 curated sources. The company describes the product not as a research tool but as an infrastructure — an abstract Artificial intelligence agents You can inquire to stay up to date on narrative shifts, competitor coverage, and share audio before those mentions hit mainstream channels.

The launch comes against the backdrop of staff cuts at major digital asset companies. Coinbase, Dune, and Block have all cut teams by significant margins over the past year, pushing remaining employees toward higher-leverage workflows.

Perception’s idea is that companies can maintain analytical depth without commensurate team growth by funneling direct, structured industry context into automated pipelines.

The product portfolio includes three categories: narrative systems (Pulse and Sounds), workflow engines (Work and Brains), and integration models (Live and MCP). REST APIs and the Model Context Protocol Gateway allow companies to direct structured narrative data to their forms or dashboards.

Fernando Nikolic, founder of Perception and former VP of Marketing at Blockstream, makes this distinction clear: “General AI doesn’t sum up the market; it smooths it out over old averages. Leaders in our field combine AI’s logical capabilities with direct, personalized context feeds to engineer their own narratives, map competitors’ share of the vote, and secure their market position.”

The central question remains whether the model will transcend established players. The four launch partners point to demand from companies with the resources to create custom AI workflows. The robustness of the realization will depend on how accessible the infrastructure is to teams working with smaller budgets.
