The new feature allows Binance users to trade more than 7,000 US-listed stocks and ETFs using existing cryptocurrency balances, including stablecoins like USDT and USDC, as well as Binance’s native token, BNB. The exchange targets global retail access by offering commission-free trading and fractional shares starting from a minimum of $5.

It does not grant direct legal ownership or voting rights in the underlying public companies, but rather reflects the financial and economic exposure to the shares.

Strategic direction towards superior financial application

This shift highlights a growing industry trend where major digital asset platforms compete directly with traditional financial brokerages like Robinhood and Webull. By eliminating the friction of joining multiple apps, Binance aims to gain access to retail capital on a broader scale abroad.
