Amazone’s Pantera 4504 self-propelled sprayer now features “enhanced user comfort” and comes standard with LED work lights.
The German agricultural machinery brand has introduced an upgraded version of its self-propelled sprayer.
The main benefit of the upgrade is the introduction of what Amazon calls “a new generation cab, enhancing driver comfort and further simplifying operation.”

New taxi
The Pantera 4504 update is centered around the new cab, which offers more space, improved sound insulation and a “more modern” interior.
“The ergonomic design generates a pleasant working environment and contributes to achieving a high level of driver comfort during those long working hours,” Amazon said.
One of the hubs of the cab is the armrest. Developed in-house, it is designed “for greater clarity and follows a straightforward operating concept with a deliberately small number of logically arranged buttons.”

Amazon said all major functions can be operated without having to switch from the multi-function joystick to other controls while driving.
A built-in smartphone holder completes the practical features.
The Pantera 4504 will be available in the future with three cab types.
“In addition to the standard cab with a comfortable seat, two versions are available with an integrated Cat.4 filter system,” the company said.
“Depending on the model, the equipment includes – among other things – a comfortable leather seat with seat heating and ventilation, a cool box, integrated footrests, a fabric carpet and side sun blinds.”
LED and external
In the new generation of cabs, Amazon has completely converted work lights to LEDs.
LED headlights generally have a much longer lifespan than their halogen counterparts.
The effective width of halogen headlights is about 100 metres, while LEDs triple that at around 300 metres.
This allows operators to work more effectively outside key daylight hours, notice hazards in the field much sooner, and reduce operating costs, as LED lights are more efficient and put less strain on the generator.

The exterior of the Pantera 4504 has also been improved.
The redesigned front apron, new side panels and revised design package are intended to give the device an “ultra modern look.”
Amazone has also set the standard wheel rims in anthracite color in an attempt to further emphasize the new look.
Technical basis
These updated design innovations are “complemented by Pantera’s existing technical strengths,” the company said.
According to Amazone, this includes the machine’s lightweight design with even weight distribution for soil-friendly operation, and precise application thanks to ContourControl active boom steering.
In addition, the Pantera also has access to the SwingStop vibration damping system and the AmaSelect single-nozzle electric control system.
“This ensures high productivity at working speeds of up to 30 km/h,” Amazon said.
Amazon also says the “smart” body design “enhances driving comfort while reducing maintenance requirements and ensuring fuel efficiency.”
The machine is available immediately from Farmhand, Amazone’s exclusive distributor in Ireland.
