Recap: Here’s how Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and XRP ETFs performed this week


The last week of March and the beginning of April saw mixed sentiment in the ETF space. Looking at the performance of the Spot Bitcoin (BTC) ETF, it saw inflows of $69.4 million on March 30, with Ark Invest’s ARKB contributing $33 million.

Then, on March 31st, Bitcoin ETFs saw inflows of $117.5 million, with BlackRock’s IBIT leading the way, with $98.4 million.

However, things turned around on April 1, with BTC ETFs recording outflows of $173.7 million, with BlackRock’s IBIT seeing maximum outflows of $86.5 million.

The trend turned positive on April 2nd again, as the BTC ETF saw inflows of $9 million, while Fidelity’s FBTC saw inflows of $7.3 million.

This coincided with Bitcoin It saw a drop to $65,000 on March 30, but at press time, it was trading at $66,937.05.

How has Spot Ethereum ETF performed?

Going forward, Spot Ethereum ETFs saw inflows of $5 million on March 30, with Fidelity’s FETH seeing inflows of $10.6 million. The next day, the ETH ETF saw inflows of $31.2 million, while BlackRock’s ETHA hit $24.7 million.

However, on the first day of the second quarter, inflows turned into outflows. As of April 1, the ETH ETF had recorded outflows of $7.1 million, with BlackRock’s ETHA seeing outflows of $32.3 million.

On April 2, the ETH ETF saw outflows of $71.2 million, with BlackRock’s ETHA experiencing maximum outflows of $46.7 million.

This comes as the price of ETH was trading at $1,958 on March 30, but at press time stood at $2,043.42.

Analysis of Solana and XRP ETF

Now, when it comes to the Solana ETF, it has also had a rollercoaster ride. On March 30, it recorded outflows of $6.2 million, with Bitwise’s BSOL seeing the highest outflows of $6.2 million.

Meanwhile, on March 31 and April 1, the SOL ETF saw no inflows. Finally, on April 2, SOL ETFs saw inflows of $0.9 million, with only Fidelity’s FBTC seeing inflows of $0.9 million.

Zooming out, SOL was trading at $80.01 on March 30, while at press time it was $79.73.

Finally, XRP ETFs saw outflows of $2.31 million on March 30. Then on March 31, it saw no inflows.

Moving on to April 1, XRP ETFs saw outflows of $1.32 million, and on April 2, they saw inflows of $64.6K. In the meantimeThe price of XRP was trading at $1.30, and at the time of publishing it was at the same level, facing high volatility in the past week.
