Met Éireann has issued another yellow level warning for high temperatures.
The warning has been issued for the counties: Clare; Cork. Kerry; Limerick. Tipperary. Galway. mayonnaise; Kilkenny; Laois; And Offaly.
This warning will be in effect from 1:00 pm on Sunday (July 12) until 7:00 am on Tuesday (July 14).
The forecaster said high temperatures of over 27 degrees can be expected, as well as overnight minimum temperatures of over 15 degrees. Possible effects include:
- Water safety issues due to increased use of lakes/beaches;
- Uncomfortable sleeping conditions;
- Heat stress
- Forest fires are a possibility.
