“An informed source tells me that what Trump published on the “Social Truth” platform regarding lifting the blockade was in fact the first condition before moving on to the rest of the steps of the agreement. According to the source, Tehran insisted on an official and public announcement first. It appears that Trump tried to present the matter as a secondary detail among larger files, while Iran considers it an essential step to build confidence before entering into the more sensitive files. So far, direct discussions have not been opened about the nuclear file itself. It is expected that the path will move gradually through the Agree on it.
